Breaking Changes

Breaking changes are changes in either the .NET Framework (runtime breaking changes) or Visual Studio (design/compile/project upgrade) that make certain application and development scenarios behave differently.

All known breaking changes in the .NET Framework 2.0 have been reviewed in detail. Breaking changes were made for a number of reasons including standards compliance, customer feedback, and correctness.

Connected Systems Competition Overview

Demonstrate your skills with SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and BizTalk by entering the Connected Systems Developer Competition. There are 15 categories that will be used to judge the competition; show us how good you are by entering an application into one or more of the competition categories.

To participate in the competition you must first register at this website by clicking on the register button. You will be asked to submit some basic personal details to allow us to communicate with you regarding the competition. Once you have registered, you will need to submit between one and three brief descriptions of the application you are proposing for the competition, submitted in English, to officially enter the competition.
