The session was good and interactive, a great thanks for giving an overview of WPF and WCF, we will always look forward more sessions on micrsoft technologies. Thanks again.
A perfect introduction which creates enthusiasm for users like me(I had to work in 1.1 and 2.0 for 3.5 yrs in one project and never really tried .net 3/3.5 as it was not needed for my day to day work). And when i tried xaml i got the same feeling about writing it manually and i didn't touch it afterwads.
Now my interest got renewed and i am sure i will try out the tools you explained. I think the resources you provided in your blog would be of great help.
Hope we get to hear more such sessions in future (technical and in-depth). Thanks for all your efforts.
The session conducted by Arun on WinForms VS WPF and What’s new for WCF - Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5 at Accenture facility was stout with information and fun. It was nice to learn a lot of new things and seeing what we can be achieved out of using WCF and WPF which otherwise is a tough task using other similar technologies. The session gave me a lot of insight around what’s there in VS 2008 and what’s baking in upcoming versions. I feel motivated to go after the new technologies and make full use of them.
